PF supply AV and lighting for Film Nation Shorts Awards 2011

On Tuesday 25th October at Village Underground in Shoreditch, East London, PF Events were contracted to supply AV and lighting for the 2011 Film Nation Short Awards. The Awards itself recognised and showcased some of the best young filmmaking talent around the country.

PF Events installed a 14ft x 7ft 10" screen with a Sanyo PLC XP100 6500 lumens projector for the main video projection. The video was controlled using an HD show laptop, a Screen Monkey Media Server and an Analog Way Smart VU HD seamless switcher. A  4500 lumens Sharp projector was also installed in the 2nd arch.

A combination of architectural and show lighting were utilised in the venue. For the show lighting, four Martin Mac 250 Entour Profile moving head lights and two Martin Mac 250 Entour Wash moving head lights were installed on stage as well as two Source 4 Profile lights which were flown from the ceiling to provide a stage wash. A Le Maitre MVS Hazer was used to maximise the show lighting.

The architectural lighting consisted of 8 Par64 uplighters, 8 Par56 uplighters and 18 Par30 uplighters. All the lighting was controlled using an Avolites Pearl lighting desk and a 12-way dimmer rack.
