Warchild Charity Auction 2011

Venue: Gibson Hall

In May 2011, PF Events were contracted by Bridey Watson (www.brideywatson.co.uk) to provide audio, staging, lighting and technical management for the charity auction and black tie dinner at Gibson Hall.

The music for the night was provided by a 10-piece band. In order to achieve the best possible sound for the venue, PF Events decided to install a compact Noise Control Audio band audio system with delay speakers throughout the room. This provided a clear sound wherever you were in the room. PF Events also provided all required microphones along with a Roland M400 mixing desk for control.

Being such a stunning venue, PF Events decided that in order to bring the best out of the venue, 24 different coloured parcan uplighters were positioned around the room to provide impacting architectural lighting to the venue. In terms of stage lighting, PF Events installed 4 Clay Paky Alpha Spot 300's moving head lights, providing effects lighting for the band. 2 Source Four Profiles were also installed to provide a stage wash. This stage lighting was all rigged from a 7m x 4m goalpost truss.

PF Events also installed a 9ft x 8ft stage with curved steps leading up to it.
