Glastonbury Festival 2011

For the third successive year, PF Events supplied the audio and staging for The Hub stage and Gorilla Members Club at Glastonbury. Technical management and production management, including integrated stage management for the first time, were also covered by PF Events, thus making the overall operation run very smoothly.

The Hub

With a new front of house mixing position being put in place along with an improved cardioid sub array being executed, this year's Hub stage was described by many as having the best sound in the whole of the Glastonbury site.

PF Events installed a 40k Noise Control Audio NFA system with infills and a bass heavy stage monitor setup to cope with DJ demands. A large selection of vocal and instrument microphones were also supplied by PF Events in order to cope with all the bands which were playing on the stage. This was all controlled by a Roland M400 Digital Mixing Desk at stage control and a Soundcraft MH2 Mixing Desk at front of house control.

The same stage design and build which was used from the previous years was also installed for 2011.

Gorilla Members Club

PF Events once again supplied audio and staging to this backstage artists and crew bar. A compact Noise Control Audio live system was installed which was perfectly suited to the cabaret style acts which were performing. A Midas Venice Sound Desk was also supplied along with a professional DJ setup.

Micro Venues

Shangri-La is littered with micro venues which include art galleries, micro raves and burlesque venues. PF Events supplied the audio, video and lighting to a number of these venues.

Block 9

Audio hire and logistical support was provided by PF Events to Noise Control Audio who supplied audio to all the stages in this field.
